The Dive Guys are based a short driving distance from The Taputeranga Marine Reserve...one of New Zealand's latest additions to its impressive and ever growing list of safe haven's for our marine life. The Reserve itself has just celebrated its 1st Birthday and is already showing noticeable improvements from a diver's point of view as its friendly inhabitants increase in numbers curiosity. Diving the Reserve is a different experience every time...explore cavernous swim-throughs and discover Red and Blue Moki round every corner, swim passed Marble Fish languishing amongst kelp, photograph Crayfish and Moray eels peering at you from all the dark corners of our favourite dive sites...and, of course, come face to face with the ever friendly and curious Blue Cod...they'll be sure to make you feel welcome!
Our local Marine Reserve has an inexhaustible list of dive experiences to offer for both the beginner and the more advanced divers out there...from the fantastic array of marine life for the naturalist diver, to the F69, the Yung Pen, The Wellington and many more wrecks for all you rust junkies out there. Many of our favourite dive sites are shore accessible...making Wellington a great place to begin your diving adventures and complete your Open Water Courses.
