Jacques Cousteau named The Poor Knights Islands as one of the top 10 dive sites in the world. As Cousteau would know, and Cousteau was right! The Poor Knights Islands are separated from the mainland of New Zealand and are on the same line as the amazing Aldermen Islands. As they are influenced by warm currents that originate in the Coral Sea north of Australia, the water temperature is higher, and visibility significantly greater than in nearby coastal waters.
