Diving the Great Wall at the Poor Knights Islands is very much likened to the other walls within the Poor Knights group. These walls are truely beautiful with encrusted life and a magnitude of species in every single square metre. Many divers use up a lot of air finning along these wall faces whereas there is no need, just find an area and there right in front of you, you can spend a great deal of time taking in all that there is to see. I like to see how many different things I can find, from nudibranchs blennies to the massive amounts of sponges in multiple colors.
Next time you visit these walls just stop and look as you may be quite surprised at how much you have really been missing out on.
