The Labyrinth is an amazing dive site here at the Poor Knights as it is here you will find the underwater ridge descending from the surface down to the sand at the 25 metre mark. This area is riddled with cracks and tears that are mainly inaccessable for the average diver. This is a very good place for the fish to rest through the night as they are protected in this cocooned area out of harms way from other predators that inhabit this area.
One of the interesting areas to dive here is an archway that can be navigated by only one diver at a time due to its narrowness. Freedivers can pass through here but it is a challenging experience and should only be attempted by experienced Free Divers. The best entry I am told is from the southern most end due to current movements. From the southern end this archway is hidden but Freedivers will be able to find it after having a few duck-dives before penetration.
The Labyrinth has a reputation as being a dive site suitable for all levels of divers.
