When you come to explore the Mine Shaft cave you may be surprised as this site is more of a cave than a shaft. Here at a depth of 18 metres you will enter this huge cavern that extends well up above the water level. At the mine Shaft cave you can actually make this a two site dive depending on your air consumption as Matts Crack known as Long cave is only 100 metres away.
For more information about Matts Crack click this link. Orcas are spotted here on a regular basis trapping the Sting Rays within the space of Matts crack then munching them up when they exit either end. In the summer of 2007 there were sightings of a pure white Ray here along with a few Hammerhead sharks.
