Diving at Rocklilly Inlet can be a good location to head for when there is a westerly blow and seas on the western side. Rocklilly Inlet is usually without winds or too much swell when the weather is comming from the west.
Even though the Rocklilly dive site is wide enough to have a shipload of divers here at any one time, there is not a great deal to see apart from an abundance of kelp. You may find the odd crayfish hiding in here but from reports that I have received they are few and far between. Looking at the bay at Maomao Arch, has in this respect more surprises. Rocklilly Bay is suitable for snorkelling in the shallows.
